Tuesday 24 December – Christmas Eve Carol Service – 7.30pm in the St Andrews Church, Box Hill
Tuesday 25 December – Christmas Day Service – 9.00am in the St Andrews Church, Box Hill (**Note changed start time!**)

St Andrew’s ministers in November and December 2019

Conclusion of Rev Ojitha Goonetilleke's ministry at St Andrew's Box Hill
Rev Ojitha Goonetilleke, St Andrews Minister of the Word (part-time, Supply), concluded his ministry on Sunday 27 October 2019. It has been a privilege to enjoy Rev Ojitha’s wise and caring ministry between August 2015 and October 2019. We sincerely thank Rev Ojitha and wish him and his family all the very best for the future!
Hanbit 28 year anniversary - combined Hanbit and St Andrew's service Sunday 8th Sep 2019 11.00am
There will be combined Hanbit and St Andrew's service to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the Hanbit Korean congregation in Box Hill. It will be a bilingual service of English and Korean with Rev Ojitha Goonetilleke delivering the sermon.
The service will be held on Sunday 8th September at 11.00am in the St Andrew's church, 909 Whitehorse road, Box Hill.
**Note that this service will be in place of the usual 9.30am St Andrew's service on this day.**
Everyone is very welcome to attend and we hope to see you there!
Hanbit church fair on Saturday 27 July, 11am - 3pm
A church fair will be held on Saturday 27 July, 11am – 3pm by the Hanbit Korean church in the church centre (909 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill).
Come along to see what is on offer and to enjoy some lovely Korean food! All proceeds will be used towards the planned children’s playground for the Hanbit church children. Hope to see you there!
2019 Uniting Winter Share Appeal
The 2019 Uniting Winter Share appeal is underway.
“In the last financial year, our service centre in Ringwood alone has had over 10,000 instances of families and individuals presenting at our service – many coming in for the first time. In the past three years we have seen an average increase in requests of approximately 10% annually across our crisis and homelessness services.” (from the Uniting website).

Rev Ojitha Goonetilleke annual leave / Reverends Gail and Alastair Pritchard
Rev Ojitha Goonetilleke will be taking annual leave for 3 months from April 22nd 2019, returning on August 4th 2019. We wish Rev Ojitha a very happy, safe and relaxing time with his family and very much look forward to his return!
